Samarohan and Choose Kind are responding with a simple yet powerful idea: train and equip local women to become leaders through teaching. These women then facilitate learning for young children in their own villages, creating a deeply localized, sustainable model for community-led development.
Through the YU Fellowship, they are becoming the leaders, teachers, and role models their villages need. They are taking charge, creating safe and joyful learning spaces, and mentoring over 300 children. This work is a powerful testament to their courage and determination.
